Using OSIsoft's PI System, Bristol-Myers Squibb embarked on a journey to digitize the drug development and manufacturing process and create a single source of truth for its manufacturing data. To build a foundation for a data-centric organization, the biopharmaceutical company began using multivariate process analysis that leveraged operational data from the PI System. In addition, the engineering team used Seeq analytics tools in conjunction with the PI System to identify batch start and end time as well as retrieve data with its format matching the requirement for multivariate data analysis.
